Is summertime too hot to handle for you? Of course there is a simple and easy Healing Touch Quick Step that may help. July and August are the hottest times of the year and that means eating lighter, enjoying lots of fresh fruits and vegetables like raspberries and blueberries, cherries, and lovely, lovely watermelon, fresh lettuces, green beans, and plenty of zucchini and crook neck squash. Ah. Sometimes the thing that cools me the most is a frozen Slushie. They are totally fun! I enjoy gentle evening waterings of the garden plants while watching Venus and Jupiter already sparkling in the sky at dusk and the local bat population fluttering fast and focused on their flying happy meals of mosquitoes. Amazing creatures, bats.

If you have difficulty feeling comfortable in the hottest time of summer, or you notice swelling feet or ankles, or you just feel burdened by the heat, there is a wonderful Healing Touch Quick Step that may help bring harmony to your body. It’s called Nourish and Nurture, and it goes like this:

Place one hand on your coccyx or tail bone and place your other hand or fingertips on the inside of your ankle at your ankle bone. Relax your shoulders, arms and hands and simply be with your body’s natural system of healing for up to 5 minutes. Then switch hands and do the other inside ankle with coccyx or tail bone connection for another 5 minutes.

Take it easy during these dog days of summer with the Dog Star, Sirius, which is 25 times brighter than our Sun at 8.7 light years away, rising in the morning with our Sun. That’s a lot of Sunlight Power radiating down on us at High Noon! Sirius [Gr.,=scorching], is exceeded in brightness only by the sun, the moon, and Venus and by Mars and Jupiter at their maximum brightness. Make time during your weekend for a sublimely snoozing siesta in the shade, if you can, drink plenty of fluids, enjoy the sweetness of summer, and Nourish and Nurture yourself with Healing Touch Quick Steps regularly. Remember the Perseid Meteorite showers beginning August 11 with the "Best of Show" happening August 14. Have fun. Take care. Take great self-care.
Blessings, Barbara
